How I met Gogol Bordello
I met him last saturday night after their show at a university in Istanbul. It was amazing luck and I’m still in a shock!!!
We saw them by chance sitting at the balcony of the hotel and called for Thomas-the bassist. (We’d met him just half an hour ago.)We asked them to come down and they replied: “Why don’t you come up?” We said that the security did not allow us and immediately Eugene came down to get us. Both me and my friend couldn’t believe it really was happening.
When we got up to their balcony I started talking to Eugene and we went on for the rest of the night! We talked about many different things: music,food,movies, places we’d been to or people we’d met. Eugene actually invited me to have wine with him in his room….
There are many other juicy details but too private for me to tell anyone… It was too good to be true_The whole night was unbelievable!
